The School of Bass Fishing Club was started in early 2009 as a companion to the popular School of Bass educational organization. The club was formed with the goal of providing fun in the form of competitive fishing and social events that appeal to novice as well as the more experienced area fishermen.

Tournaments
Unlike the usual Northern California bass fishing tournament circuits that cost hundreds of dollars to enter, the School of Bass Fishing Club provides less formal--and much less expensive--fishing "turkey shoots" that give anglers a chance to put their fishing skills to the test.
Our turkey shoots are held on our home lake Folsom Lake as well as the Delta and other lakes selected by our members. These turkey shoots only involve a nominal angler entry fee ($10 for members, $20 for non-members).
2011 Winners
Angler of the Year: Ryan Austin
Big Fish: Brian Richards
Monthly Meetings
The
School of Bass Fishing Club meets after each turkey shoot.
